In 2011, Mike Skinner and The Streets performed their final gigg at Freeze Festival in London. This week the vocalist and multi-instrumentalist announced via Instagram that the band is to reunite to tour in 2018. For now only UK dates were revealed. The shows are set to happen in April in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and London.

Skinner said in a statement: “I’ve missed tour buses very much. Which is the least of the reasons why I have decided to tour The Streets again. The other thing I’ve missed is trying to thing up what I’m going to say in the gap between the songs.” Tickets go on sale at 9am next Friday, October 13 and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.

The Streets 2018 UK Tour:

04.19 – Birmingham – O2 Academy
04.20 – Glasgow – O2 Academy
04.21 – Manchester – O2 Apollo
04.23 – Leeds – O2 Academy
04.25 – London – O2 Brixton Academy
04.26 – London – O2 Brixton Academy
